League Tools

The League Tools section gives administrators a flexible way to share information, documents, and resources with their league members.

League Information Center

The League Information Center is an incredibly flexible tool that leagues can use to post anything from by-laws to scores and statistics. Think of it as a shared file cabinet that all your members can access from the league homepage.

What you can post:

  • League by-laws and rules
  • Season standings and statistics
  • Announcements and newsletters
  • Course guides and local rules
  • Any document in Word, Excel, PDF, or text format
Tip: The Information Center appears as a widget on your league homepage, so members can always find the latest documents without needing to be told where to look.

Adding Items to the Information Center

1

Open the League Information Center

Navigate to the League Information Center widget on your homepage or through the admin menu.

2

Click Add

Select the Add button to open the upload form.

3

Follow the Prompts

Enter a title for the item, choose your file or paste your content, then follow the on-screen prompts to complete the upload.

4

Save

Click Save. The item immediately becomes visible to all league members.

Editing & Deleting Items

To Edit an Item

Locate the item in the League Information Center, then click the pencil icon next to it. Make your changes and save. The updated version is immediately live.

To Delete an Item

Locate the item in the League Information Center and click the trash can (waste basket) icon next to the item you want to remove. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Note: Deletions are permanent. If you want to temporarily hide something, consider editing it to remove the content rather than deleting the item entirely.

Supported File Types

The Information Center natively supports .txt and .html file uploads. For other formats like Word documents (.docx), Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx), or PDFs, convert the file first using your application's Save As function.

How to convert:

  • Microsoft Word: File → Save As → choose .html or .txt
  • Microsoft Excel: File → Save As → choose .html or .txt (tab-delimited)
  • PDF documents: Use a free online PDF-to-HTML converter before uploading
Need to share a PDF directly? Consider linking to a cloud-hosted version (Google Drive, Dropbox) and pasting the URL as a text item in the Information Center.
